We weren’t scheduled to get the footings in until Tuesday (May 13) but because of weekend rain, the contractor’s other project was inaccessible by the cement conveyor truck. One client’s loss turned out to be our gain…as Al + Crew brought the hardware to our site and got to work.
I stopped by at lunch where the guys were sweeping the last of the stone out of the street and cutting the rebar. By the time I stopped by after work they had completed the pour for the footing.
Good thing, too. At about 8pm we were SOCKED with an epic rainstorm that surely would have caused a delay past Tuesday. As it currently stands, we’re expecting to have foundation walls by Friday.
