Bonus Room

We found a purpose for the bonus space above the Reading Room and through Madeline’s closet…it’s Madeline’s NEW and IMPROVED closet.  It will include on one side closet doors/shelves while on the other side there will be room for a couple of seats.  Essentially, it will be a fitting room in the style of, “Say YES to the Dress”

They’ve also nearly finished the roof deck…leaving the really hard parts for last – where some adjustments were made in order to allow for the free melt and runoff of accumulated snow.

Finally, the masons are getting ready to start on the fireplaces.  To that end, they cut a hole in the basement floor and dug a new hole that gives us 16″ of concrete instead of 4″ on which to build our main fireplace.
