The stone masons are making good progress on the exterior…as the last remaining blankets of Tyvek are being slowly covered. Progress on the porch has been good and we’re awaiting delivery of the limestone arch pieces to finish it off. Anne and I selected the texture of the stucco so … we’re definitely nearing the day when the house has a complete ‘face’.
On the inside, the sweepers came through and removed a lot of the remnant wood chips, insulation and jetsam/flotsam left behind by the tradesmen. Rick says the drywall will be delivered on Thursday with installation beginning shortly thereafter.
On the decorating end of things, Anne and I have been busy with lighting fixtures for the past couple of weeks…and Dan (electrician) gave us the LIST to make sure we leave no (electrical) box empty.
