Back from Napa…Time Stands Still

November 10, 2014

Home Construction

When we’re in Napa…we love how time just seems to stand still.  We didn’t expect progress on the house to follow suit.

Sure, there were pockets of activity but nothing major to speak of during the two days we were in wine country.

The gutters were finished, the first row of the driveway retaining wall was laid, another layer of stucco and the arch in the bazaar were added, some shower tiles were installed and case molding for the windows/doors was delivered.

Perhaps the biggest development was that the first flight of stairs was installed…connecting the basement to the lower landing.
