We have a Driveway!

After eight long months of walking on the dusty gravel to enter to the house – we’re very happy now to have a driveway.  Almost as soon as the driveway pavers left the landscapers brought up their Bobcat and starting excavating the ground for what will be the pathway to the front door.  Yes, somewhere behind that piece of pine plywood is our front door.

The landscapers also began installing the stone surface on the front porch.

On the inside, the third flight of stairs was installed – taking us up from the Great Room to the landing/gallery.  Mike continued installing the case trim around the windows and Jim/John worked on Hannah’s shower and bathroom after they installed the stone floor in the master shower.

We also today had visits from the Generac contractor and the wallpaper guy.

With all this activity today Anne had her hope restored that we’ll actually one day live in this house!
