Chance Meeting with Adam

Despite being the architect …we’ve not yet walked through the house with Adam.  So, when I drove up on Friday afternoon as Adam was backing out of the driveway, I asked that he re-park his truck and we walk through together.  Bottom line – He’s very happy with the outcome and says that we’re ‘doing his design ‘right’ with the features and decor we’re building in.  By the way…Adam likes Rush…making him a connoisseur of music as well as home designs.  It was great seeing him there.

Elsewhere…progress on the Great Room / Kitchen floor continues.  Joe and Rick kick butts.  As of this writing, there remain NINE available tiles until the guys run out.  The manufacturer continues to lag with his delivery…

The painters started taping the window mullions and staging the doors to ready for trim painting.

There were also two vanity tops installed – one in Maddie’s bathroom and the other in the basement bathroom.  It’s gratifying that the colors we selected; actually coordinate with the floors and cabinets as planned!

And…we’d be remiss if we didn’t mention the carpenter’s continued fine work on trim and molding.  Bless their saws!
