Finishing Floors

Anne and I met Ryan – the floor finishing expert to select the stains for the floors.  Like so many of our previous meetings…the process when quickly and smoothly because of the experienced and talented people that Rick brings in and because Anne and I don’t have much trouble making a decision…for fear of delaying our occupancy by even one minute!

What is most exciting about the flooring step is that once complete, it will cascade into the final steps of finishing – painting, appliances, fixtures and trim.  Then…people.

While the floor inishing crew does their thing all of the other trades are being kept out of the house…save for Dave the fireplace installer…who has been allowed to work on the basement mantle/hearth.  I’m sure he had to promise not to raise any dust.
