Finishing Work Races On

January 21, 2015

Home Construction

The painters, carpenters, plumbers, electricians, ironworkers, A/V guys, cabinet installers, carpet installers and fireplace installers continue racing to finish all the remaining details before next week…and seeing all of the pieces come together is a lot of fun.

It’s all running pretty smoothly except the two doofus’ (doofi?) responsible for ordering the plumbing and electrical fixtures managed not to order everything properly.  As a result, some of the fixture deliveries and installations have been delayed.  But, in the grand scheme of things… a couple of balls needed to drop…and Rick has been able to work around these.

Meanwhile, we’ve been making all the moving plans – “moving out”,  “moving in” and “setting up”.  It’s a busy time to be sure…but we love an adventure…so what the heck?
