Zip lining

What an awesome day! Neither of us had ever zip lined before so since this whole experience is about going outside our box I signed us both up. There were 25 of us in our group. We did 13 different lines. I will be honest and admit I was quite scared before the first run. Once I was hooked into the harnesses and started down the first line all the nerves were gone. It was so exhilarating! In between each different run we would walk or hike up to the next run. In total it took about 2 1/2 hours. The town that the zip line was located was called Mindo. It was very different then Quito. Mindo is very lush and tropical. It was very special sharing the experience with Maddie. I have video of us each going down a line that I’ll post later. Wi-fi is so spotty here

Our rest/fun day is over and we are back at the clinics tomorrow and Thursday.
