Ted and the guys showed up this morning and installed two of the arch-top windows…this after a GREAT week of construction weather. Such as it was, they knocked out significant chucks of our complicated roof. On Friday when I was walking through with Ted he commented, “This job has a piece of every (difficult) job we’ve built in the past 10 years.” Well, we will take responsibility for the concept…but Adam has to shoulder responsibility for the actual design.
We also during our walk-through spent some time in the large “bonus” space above the reading room. There’s easily a space 12′ square with an 8’+ ceiling – we need only to figure out how to best access the area. Currently, the only access would be through the back wall of Maddie’s closet.
We also last night, walked our visiting family, the Kelly’s through the skeletal house. It was nice having them over…even though we couldn’t offer them any snacks, dessert or drinks.
